How can Acupuncture, Herbs and Oriental Medicine help you lead a healthier life?
Hello, my name is Kathy Nakayama, and I am a licensed acupuncturist. Here at my office overlooking Peter Kirk Park in downtown Kirkland, I use tried and true techniques learned from the best teachers of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Acupuncture is an ancient medical practice which aids the body’s ability to balance its own energy. When there is an imbalance in the body, the result can be pain (such as knee or low back pain) or it can express as a chronic problem (such as a troubled immune system.) You can find long lists of the ailments that acupuncture can be used to heal on many acupuncture sites. I would suggest you think of Acupuncture as a healing art that is ideally suited for ongoing health mantainance and for addressing chronic or complex issues that western medicine cannot completely cure. From the common cold, chronic pain, fatigue, stress, pms, hormonal imbalances or general low energy. Acupuncture has helped many people lead happier healthier lives and it can help you too.
I’m dedicated to helping my patients achieve their health goals.
